Do It Yourself: Free Stuff 2
Simple things you can do around your own home to save a ton of money on your energy bills.
Duration: 79 sec Date: Oct 30, 2007
If everyone did these easy things, we would save an incredible amount of energy, so you are really important. You turn off tools when you're done, why not a light or a T.V.? Just turn them off when you're done. Duh. If you added up all the power from the T.V. sets in America and they're turned off, they still draw the same equivalent power that a nuclear power plant generates. That's when they're turned off. Use cold water for laundry. Ninety percent of the energy is used to heat the water. Ninety percent of the energy is used to heat the water. Make sure the air filter's clean. Check it every month, it only takes two seconds. If it's dirty, change it. People spend two thirds of their energy bill during winter months. Dress for the weather. When it's cold, put clothes on. When it's hot, take clothes off. I love summertime. Endpendence.info
